The questions below are designed to improve and increase your vocabulary through common/ordinary situations such as the Covid 19 concerns.

1. Is it safe to drink alcohol after Covid-19 vaccine?

After the vaccine there is no evidence to show that alcohol consumption will have an effect on how the vaccine works. Of course use common sense and do not overdo your consumption of alcohol.  Having one beer, one glass of wine or one cocktail should be safe after your vaccination.

2. Is it safe to take ibuprofen after Covid-19 vaccine?

If you have pain or discomfort, talk to your doctor about taking over-the-counter medicine, such as ibuprofen, aspirin, antihistamines, or acetaminophen(Tylenol), for any pain and discomfort you may experience after getting vaccinated.

Covid-19 vaccination will help protect you from getting Covid-19.  You may have some side effects, which are normal signs that your body is building protection.  These side effects may affect your ability to do daily activities, but they should go away in a few days.  Some people have no side effects.

"nature always effected a cure"

"sound effects of a movie are real to me"

affect-have an effect on-make a difference to: "the dampness began to affect my health"

touch the feelings of someone, - "the atrocities he witnessed have affected him most deeply."

affect (sun tanning) effect (sun burn)  the end result/

HELPFUL TIPS

It is not recommended you take medicines before vaccination for the purpose of trying to prevent side effects.

To reduce pain and discomfort where you go the shot: apply a clean, cool, wet washcloth over the area, and/or a compress.

Use or exercise your arm.

To reduce discomfort from fever: drink plenty of water, and fluids, dress lightly.

Second shot may create more intense side effects that the first shot.  These side effects are signs that your body is building protection and should go away in a few days.

The Pfizer-Bio Tech and Moderna vaccine both need 2 shots in order to get the most protection.

You should get the second shot even if you have side effects after the first shot, unless a vaccination provider or doctor tell you not to get it.

You only need 1 shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to get the most protection.
